Masterclass: Part 3

Following on from Parts 1 & 2 this 10 hour (including bonus content) comprehensive tutorial demonstrating how I use SketchUp & LayOut in my workflow. Broken down into 9 easy-to-manage episodes (with a special bonus 10th episode) using the method demonstrated in my previous tutorials, we will look at how to produce working construction drawings for all of the door details in the model. We also look at how to produce CNC files and a typical wall and step detail, where I also show you my method for post process work in Photoshop. Not only that you will also receive a bonus tutorial on how to model Georgian panelled doors along with a pack of 6 license-free door models that you can use in your own designs.

Using best practices I will guide you through how to use your existing model to create construction documents for all of the above mentioned details.

Once completed, you will have another 4 portfolio-worthy drawings. This course is meant as an add-on to the original tutorials, however it can also be used as a stand-alone course as you will receive all the necessary 3D assets

You will receive the following items in the package:

  • 10 videos with a total running time of 9 hours 47 minutes and 15 seconds (£2,400 worth of training if this was a 1 to 1 session in the real world)
  • The completed SketchUp model of the original set to use as a master file (back-saved to SketchUp 18 so that it is compatible with older versions of the software)
  • A Mini Door Asset Pack contains six license free doors to use in your own designs.
  • You will also receive the 2 door models and a CNC model file (back-saved to SketchUp 2018)
  • The completed LayOut files x4 (back-saved to Sketchup 2018)
  • As above you will also receive all of the section files for you to be able to practice the sectioning technique that I demonstrate.
