MasterClass: Part 4.

 Following on from Parts 1, 2 and 3 this 10 1/2 hour comprehensive tutorial I'll be demonstrating how to properly design and build staircases, from straight runs with dog legs and winders to modern brutalist helical stairs and antique spirals and finishing up with a romanesque sweeping stone staircase. We will cover traditional joinery in staircase construction and how to model it effectively in SketchUp. Using advanced modelling techniques with the help of a few plugins I am going to take the stress out of making handrails and base rails curve up and along a path and before you know it you'll be able to apply the same technique to any sort of staircase design and construction.

This course deviates slightly from the flow of previous Masterclasses in the series in that we go in heavily on advanced modelling techniques. We do cover some drafting and presentations in LayOut but I really wanted to show you that although these methods feel advanced they are incredibly easy when you know what you are doing and what plugin to use. I also feel that this course works as a stand alone masterclass in that you do not need to have completed the previous courses in the series.

• 11 Videos with a total running time of 10 1/2 hours (over £2000 worth of training)

• The completed Sketchup models (back saved to Sketchup 18 (so that it is compatible with older versions of the software) 

• You will also receive the completed Layout file (back saved to Sketchup 2018) 

• You will also receive all of the section files for you to be able to practice the sectioning technique that I demonstrate.

• It is recommended that you also download my scrapbook for layout.
